Claire Foy has put in some unforgettable performances in recent year, and many think her role in the BBC's A Very British Scandal is one of her best.
The 37-year-old is best known for her iconic role as a young Queen Elizabeth II on the hit Netflix series The Crown.
Claire began her career after graduating from the Oxford School of Drama and bagging a role in the 2008 TV series Being Human.
This led to further roles including in the 2011 movie Season of the Witch, where she met actor Stephen Campbell and sparked a romance.
He has also appeared in Downton Abbey as Major Chetwode, Johnny English Reborn as the Prime Minister.
The pair got married in 2014, having a daughter together in 2015, before announcing their separation three years later.
In a joint statement released to HELLO magazine in February 2019, they said: "We can confirm that we have separated and have been for some time.
"We do however continue as great friends with the utmost respect for one another. We ask for our privacy during this time."
Since that time there had been speculation that Claire and The Crown co-star Matt Smith had been dating, although there was little evidence they were any more than close friends.
You can watch A Very British Scandal on BBC One tonight (Tuesday, December 28) at 9pm, or catch it on iPlayer.
