Brighton chief executive and deputy chairman Paul Barber will be named as an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the King’s New Year’s Honours list.
He will be recognised for his services to football by King Charles III.
Barber, 55, has been with Brighton since 2012. During that time, they won promotion to the Premier League in 2016-17. They have established themselves in the division and are currently seventh in the English top flight.
