Achraf Hakimi’s agent has hit out at reports claiming Kylian Mbappe’s mother is trying to take his client.
Fayza Lamari, Mbappe’s mother, currently only has her son as a client, but is looking to branch out.
Multiple reports claim that Hakimi is a target for Lamari, as he is not only a teammate of Mbappe at Paris Saint-Germain, but one of his best friends.
Mbappe’s brother Ethan and Lyon’s Rayan Cherki are also being targeted, but Lamari has been told in the strongest terms to stay in her lane.
Speaking to AS, Hakimi’s current agent, Alejandro Camano of Footfeel, dismissed the idea that the Moroccon could change representatives.
He said: “We are surprised that the one and only fact of being the mother of an important player allows her to interfere in the market.

“Achraf is part of the Footfeel family, he has been convinced of the project for many years and he has a friendly relationship with Kylian that we respect.
“The fact that Mbappe's people are leaking that Achraf can be part of his agency is unusual due to their lack of experience in the market.
“Being a player's mother is not enough, it seems to me to be a lack of respect for the profession, there are great agents who deal in a very tough and very difficult market.... We think that's wrong, that there is no chance [of Hakimi joining]."
Camano then went further, saying it is ‘unthinkable’ that Hakimi would have considered the change.

He continued: "Fayza Lamari has a company that has nothing but Kylian Mbappe, which is very important, but it is based on a relationship between a mother and her son.
“Its importance on the market is nil, it has no experience, no operation carried out. It is unthinkable that someone like Achraf could have been sensitive to this.
"I have nothing to say to Fayza Lamari. I can greet her, show her my respect and congratulate her on the son she has. But nothing more.
“I wish her a long road in the world agents, I hope she can have the best players, but I ask for respect for the profession, for those of us who have been in this profession for years, I wish her the best, but in the case of Ashraf, it will not be possible."
It’s not the first time Mbappe’s parents have come under fire for the management of their son, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic previously telling them to ‘shut up’.
Speaking during the World Cup, the Swede said: "So his parents become lawyers, agents, coaches.
"From one thing they become another. And that's the problem. That's when you lose your self-discipline and who you are.
"Today with this new generation, the parents, dad, mum who you want, they think they have become stars.
"They talk in the newspapers. But who do you think you are? Shut up. It is up to your son, the player, to work and have discipline."
