The summer holidays are slowly drawing to a close, however, artists from across the globe are continuing to drop hot new music tracks and we couldn’t love them more for it.

Leading our New Music Round Up this week is Justin Bieber. ‘Friends’ sees Biebs team up with pal BloodPop, and the two have delivered an incredibly catchy song.

Little Mix and CNCO teamed up for an incredible remix of ‘Reggaetón Lento’. The Spanglish track sees Little Mix add their flavour to CNCO’s original, and in all honesty, it’s definitely a late contender for song of the summer.

This week also saw new tracks from Rachel Platten, Shania Twain, and Miley Cyrus, who also announced the tracklisting for her forthcoming album.

Whilst we’re still basking in new music glory, here’s a few more must-listen tracks for you to add to your ever growing playlists.

Martin Jensen – ‘Wait’ featuring Loote

Danish DJ Martin Jensen is back with the follow up single to his worldwide smash, ‘Solo Dance’. ‘Wait’ features New York based duo Loote, and channels a similar vibe to ‘Solo Dance’, particularly in the chorus. However, the track has a special edge to it as it also includes some of Martin’s fans! Fans of all abilities were given the opportunity to send their vocal in order to be a part of the song, and in the end each submission which met the requirements were included!

Alicai Harley – ‘Gold’

‘Gold’ is the slick single from Alicai Harley, the first lady of BrukOut Records. Oozing summer vibes, the track is instantly infectious and is guaranteed to make anyone want to bust a move. ‘Gold’ is already in heavy rotation at BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 1Xtra, and was DJ Target’s Record of the Week as well as the BBC’s Introducing Track of the Week. There is already a huge hype surrounding Alicai, and we can only expect even greater things from her in the future.

Rose Gray – Ring the Alarm

‘Ring the Alarm’ is the latest track from rising star Rose Gray. Acting as the follow up to ‘Give It All To You’, ‘Ring the Alarm’ was written to “reflect how people feel when they find themselves in situations controlled by dissatisfaction, suffering and being in unhappy relationships, not knowing their full potential.” Produced by Alan Nglish, the track is inspired by the original Tenor Saw song. ‘Ring the Alarm’ has been brought to life by its official music video, which captures an individual’s struggle of feeling trapped in a volatile relationship. As the alarm bells start ringing in Rose’s mind, she finds the strength to set herself free and leave her partner.

Blessed – ‘See Through All The Colours’

‘See Through All The Colours’ is the exciting new track from London duo Blessed. Made up of sisters Lauren and Georgia Morgan, the track perfectly showcases their unique blend of RnB, pop and dance. Speaking about the addictive track, Blessed told i-D: “It’s the confidence you have when you feel like you’re going to be the one to make someone realise there’s no one else out there for them but you.” The track forms part of their See Through All The Colours EP which also includes the previously released ‘My Yute’ and debut single ‘Venom’.

Odette – ‘Watch Me Read You’

19-year-old Odette makes her breakthrough with the stunning ‘Watch Me Read You’. The track is so compelling, and combines spoken-word verses with powerful choruses. The combination is spellbinding, matching Odette’s objective of communicating how intensely she sees things. “Processing emotion is a common theme throughout a lot of my songs. Music has been a way for me to discuss and kind of analyse emotions and things from a different perspective, rather than just feeling it.” she said. We can expect more from this talented songstress soon when she releases her debut album.

Tom Forest – ‘Believer’

‘Believer’ is the second release from British singer-songwriter Tom Forest’s upcoming debut album. The track is laden with soul, including a gospel-like tone during the chorus. Tom manages to showcase his raw vocal in addition to his beautiful talent when it comes to crafting personal songs. Speaking about the track, he said: “Last year I was in a dark place with music. It felt like life was telling me it was time to stop, even though it was something that had always been second nature. To make an album took a huge amount of support from friends and family – many people contributed to that process and I’m so grateful. Sometimes the value of dreams is not in whether you achieve or fail, but in the belief in that it brings out in those around you. If you find yourself fighting a battle, even if you lose, you see who comes to join you.”
